In Chicago Illinois she began her study of acting in The Second City Training Center in 2009. Career in 2014, Tolman starred in the first episode of FX Black comedy crime drama Fargo. Fargo was based on the Coen Brothers' film with the same title. The show starred Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman alongside Bob Odenkirk.
